Holt forest can be found near to Lake Tūtira (about 50 minutes drive time north of Napier) and it is an impressive aboretum with over 500 species of indigenous and introduced plants.
There are a number of trails including broad gravel paths suitable for wheelchairs. It's a great place to have a picnic but please leave the dogs at home.
